mediation

resolve your dispute

Mediation is the opportunity to resolve some or all of the issues in your dispute outside of court. Audrey mediates family law and civil disputes, including divorce, custody, and child support.

Most parties to a family law case in Georgia will mediate at some point during the process. Some choose to mediate prior to filing a case, whether divorce, custody, child support, or another family law matter. Others may mediate prior to trial, after significant litigation has already occurred. Regardless of when mediation occurs, it can be a useful tool in reaching a resolution.

If you have a lawyer, your lawyer will typically schedule mediation for you. You should contact your attorney with any questions about mediation.

If you do not have a lawyer, you can participate in mediation "pro se", meaning you will represent yourself. Lawyers or parties representing themselves may schedule a mediation with Audrey by visiting https://calendly.com/audrey-gal/mediation-with-audrey-bergeson. If your preferred mediation date and time do not appear to be available, contact Audrey at audrey@bergesonfamilylaw.com.
